BIS 2025-26: 5th Grades Learn about Media Careers from Community Professionals

Our 5th graders recently participated in their Bulldog Ready Guaranteed Experience: Media Takeover, spending the day exploring how storytelling comes to life through different forms of media.

The morning began with a Living Library, where students learned directly from community professionals about their careers, passions, and experiences. In the afternoon, students traveled throughout the community visiting six media-focused stops, including journalism, videography, podcasting, graphic design, social media management, and radio broadcasting.

These authentic experiences help students connect classroom learning to real careers while building communication, creativity, curiosity, and confidence.
