Current Students
All current students enrolled in Batesville Community Schools must have their information verified and updated each school year. The process of making these updates to confirm re-enrollment through PowerSchool is required as we must have your permission on file each year to provide medical services and technology devices to your child(ren). Please complete by August 1st, 2024.
New Students
If your child is new to the Batesville Community School Corporation or returning from enrollment in another school, choose the option below based on in-district or out-of-district residency.
In-District New Student Registration
If you live within the boundaries of the Batesville Community School Corporation, complete the first step of registration by clicking on the blue registration link New Student Registration link. After completing this step, our office staff will review and approve your information. Once approved, you will receive an automated message back to your email explaining the next steps for completing the 2024-2025 online registration process. Please continue to monitor your email for this message.
Out-of-District New Student Transfer

Kindergarten
Batesville Primary School is pleased to offer a full-day kindergarten program that is safe and nurturing and will optimize your child’s development. BPS kindergarten teachers understand that this year will be one of the most important milestones in your child’s life – the first year of school! They work hard to ensure a successful adjustment to school because kindergarten will often influence the child’s perception, attitudes, and performance in subsequent school years.
Age Requirements: Any student who is five (5) years of age on or before August 1st is eligible to enroll in kindergarten.
