BCSC Pre-K to High School Vision

Kindergarten-5th grade (Kindergarten will continue with the full immersion model with increased Mandarin Literacy during the 2024-2025 school year; First grade will transition to the full immersion model during the 2024-2025 school year)

• 50% of the instructional day in Mandarin (grades 2-5 during the 2024-2025 school year)
• Allied Arts (art, music, library & PE) in English
• Mandarin: Math, Science & Mandarin Language Arts
• English: Social Studies, Math Reinforcement & English/Language Arts

Grades 6-8

• 2 class periods in Mandarin (Mandarin and a content subject such as Social Studies or Science)
• Camps in China

High School

• AP Mandarin courses specifically designed for Immersion students
• Study Abroad
