This fire and rescue program introduces students to the roles of firefighters and emergency responders, focusing on protecting life and property. Students learn firefighting terminology and basic skills, along with creating a career plan in fields like fire science and emergency medical services. They also prepare for certifications in Hazardous Materials Awareness and firefighting standards, learning essential skills for managing hazardous situations. Advanced training covers fire protection systems, firefighter safety, and survival, as well as the science behind fire and its hazards. The program provides both the knowledge and practical skills needed for careers in fire and rescue services.
