Media Center

Volunteer
If you plan to chaperone during any field trips or volunteer in a position without direct staff supervision at Batesville Intermediate School, you will be required to complete an online expanded background check through Safe Solutions for $12.95. This background check will be valid for three years. All background checks must be completed before April 1st, 2025. Volunteer background check application.
Clerical Work
Contact your child’s teacher to help prepare classroom activities.
Small Group Tutoring
Work with students on math facts or reading. Contact Mrs. Cassidy, Principal at dcassidy@batesville.k12.in.us.
Events
There are ongoing opportunities to chaperone field trips or volunteer at special school-wide functions. Watch for communication from your child’s teacher or in the weekly communication from Mrs. Cassidy.
BCEF
The Batesville Community Education Foundation is a local nonprofit that exists to support BCSC, providing extra funding for educational opportunities. The foundation welcomes volunteers for projects such as helping with fundraisers or serving on its board of directors.
