Back to School Information
The Batesville Community School Corporation operates on a rolling start to begin each new school year. Tuesday, August 11, 2026, is the first day of school at BHS for grades 10, 11, and 12 ONLY. On Wednesday, August 12, only students in grade 9 will attend. Thursday, August 13, ALL BHS students will attend school.
Students who will be driving a vehicle to school are expected to register for and purchase a parking pass. Students may park in the back parking lot, except for those with designated reserved signs, handicapped spaces (unless they have a handicapped plate or placard), or the numbered stenciled spots by the Auxiliary Gym, which are reserved for the BCEF reserved parking auction winners.
