Bulldog Ready Coordinator Kyle Laker leads the Batesville Community School Corporation (BCSC)’s community-connected educational model. His previous positions at BCSC have included teaching middle school math/computers and high school advanced placement computer science and serving as an instructional technology coach.

A 2005 BHS graduate, Kyle has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Hanover College and a master’s in education (with a focus on technology) from Indiana University/Purdue University. Kyle and his wife Emily have three children: Austin, Aubrey, and Charlotte. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, especially fishing, camping, and hiking.

Kyle is excited to connect the community with our students so they are #BulldogReady.

Rose Wilde
BulldogReadyCommunity Coach

As a Bulldog Ready Community Coach, Rose Wilde enriches the career learning communities by developing collaborative business partnerships and organizing engaging, real-world learning opportunities for Batesville High School (BHS) students. She is also a dual credit instructor for Ivy Tech’s COMM 101 (Introduction to Public Speaking) and the advisor for the BHS Bulldog Ready Ambassadors.

Rose has a bachelor’s degree in English education from the University of Northern Iowa, a master’s in education from Olivet University, and has completed 15 hours of graduate coursework in Communication at Indiana University. She enjoys spending time with her two children (Ethan and Kenzi), traveling, hiking, and listening to live music.

Rose is excited to bring the real world into the classroom, collaborating with partners to make our students #BulldogReady.
