The mission of the Batesville Primary School PTO is to promote open communication and understanding between the parents and staff of BPS.

If you plan to chaperone during any field trips or volunteer in a position without direct staff supervision at Batesville Primary School, you will be required to complete an online expanded background check through Safe Solutions for $12.95. This background check will be valid for three years. We encourage all family members wishing to volunteer in any capacity to complete this background check. If you complete an expanded online background check while your child is at BPS, you will not need to complete another expanded background check until your child is a student at Batesville Intermediate School (grades 3-5). The Batesville Community Education Foundation is a local nonprofit that exists to support BCSC, providing extra funding for educational opportunities. The foundation welcomes volunteers for projects such as helping with fundraisers or serving on its board of directors.

Meetings are held as needed at BPS. Please view our BPS calendar for meeting dates/times. All parents are welcome to attend each meeting!
