Our theme for the 2026–2027 school year is Dream It. Believe It. Do It. We want every student to dream big, believe in themselves, and develop the confidence and perseverance to turn those dreams into reality!
I bring over 30 years of experience in elementary education, having taught students in grades 1–6 in both Cincinnati and southeastern Indiana. I have also served as a Title I Coordinator, working alongside educators and families to help every child succeed. Ever since first grade, I have known I wanted to become a teacher, and I truly feel blessed to be living that dream as the principal of Batesville Intermediate School.
My goal is to help every child develop a lifelong love of curiosity and learning. While academic excellence and high expectations are essential, I believe our most important work is helping students become kind, respectful, compassionate people who make a positive difference in the lives of others. When our students leave BIS, I hope they not only have a strong educational foundation but also the character and confidence to lead with empathy and integrity.
My husband, Andy, and I are proud to call Batesville home and enjoy being active members of this wonderful community. We are the proud parents of three grown daughters and grandparents to three beautiful grandchildren.
