Eintritt in den Kindergarten

Welcome to the Batesville Primary School kindergarten program. BPS is pleased to offer a full day kindergarten program that is safe and nurturing and will optimize your child’s development.

BPS kindergarten teachers understand that this year will be one of the most important milestones in your child’s life – the first year of school! They work hard to ensure a successful adjustment to school because kindergarten will often influence the child’s perception, attitudes, and performance in subsequent school years.

Age Requirements: Any student who is five (5) years of age on or before August 1st is eligible to enroll in kindergarten.

2024-2025 Kindergarten Registration

If you are registering your child after April 11th. Please click here to pre-register your child in PowerSchool. Upon approval of online pre-registration, you will receive an email with further instructions. If an email is not received within two days, then please check your spam/junk mail. Families will complete online registration first, then will need to click the link provided on the final page of online registration to be redirected to SignUpGenius where you will sign up for an academic screening make-up time on April 30th. Important Dates: Februar 5, 2024 – Kindergarten Online Registration Opens; April 11, 2024 – Kindergarten Registration and Academic Screening at Batesville Primary School

On April 11th, the day of our registration and academic screening, families will need to bring the following:

Bring nur your student signing up for school

You must bring your child’s original birth certificate (no copies)

Custodial paperwork, wenn anwendbar (please make sure this is turned in by August)
