Digital Learning Day is a nationwide event to promote the use of digital teaching and learning practices in the classroom. We invite you to join teachers and students from all 50 states celebrate this event on Digital Learning Day – Wednesday, February 17, 2016. Digital learning represents a technological revolution in the classroom that can offer all children access to an excellent education with 21st Century skills. This includes innovative teaching and learning through digital media and technology to strengthen the student learning experience.
The purpose of Digital Learning Day is to celebrate the use of technology. At Batesville, every day is Digital Learning Day, so we want to celebrate and highlight what teachers and students are doing in the classroom.
Use the technology tools and celebrate!
• Students will participate in a Discussion in Canvas, sharing how they use technology in the classroom.
• Teachers will participate in a Discussion in Canvas, sharing how they use technology in the classroom.
• Students (grades 3-12) will be asked to participate in a Digital Learning Day survey , reflecting on their digital learning experiences.
