BIG CHANGES FOR FAFSA THIS YEAR!
- Submit Your FAFSA Earlier~ Students will be able to file a 2017-18 FAFSA as early as October 1, 2016.
- Use Earlier Income Information~Beginning with the 2017-2018 FAFSA, students will report income information from an earlier tax year. For example, on the 2017-18 FAFSA, students will report their 2015 income information.
Financial Aid Night ~ Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 7pm in the BHS Auditorium ****This will be an overview of the FAFSA form and is an important meeting for any first time parents filling out the form for his or her senior student planning to attend college. (This meeting will be after the Senior Parent Night Meeting!)
FAFSA Completion Event ~ Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 4-7 pm in the BHS Media Center ****This is a help session in which parents/students can enter all information for the FAFSA form and have a FAFSA specialist available to assist if necessary. If you already have completed the FAFSA and have a SAR (Student Aid Report) and would like to discuss it with the FAFSA Specialist, bring it to this event and they will talk you through the report!
